Ron and Pete discuss a disappointing Cubs split with the Reds, and the inexplicable disaster that has been the Cardinals since their eight-game winning streak. They wrap things up with random discussions of Stanton, Harper, Votto, Schwarber, Grichuk, Baez, and… Harrison Ford?

With Ron taking a much-deserved break, Pete invites his colleague Andrew Johannes, and one of his former students, JP Remijas, onto the show to discuss the Cubs and Cards seasons and what they see moving forward in 2017 and beyond.

Ron and Pete pushed last week's episode back a couple of days so that they could discuss the #TradeDeadline. Unfortunately, there was much to discuss. The guys go over the Cubs' moves, the Cards' lack of moves, and the trades that various playoff contenders made. Also, Ron gives his take on Mike Matheny's comments about Cardinals fans and Yadier Molina.
